Email from Friendster
Dear Friendster Member,
Recently, Friendster released beta programs for its Chat and Discussion board products to a limited audience. We chose to release these products to the United States and Canada because of their size and the amount of feedback we would receive. Shortly after launch, we tracked a large number of Members who had improperly changed their country to the U.S. and Canada so they could participate in these programs. This action is a clear violation of our Terms of Service Agreement each Member digitally signed during the registration process.
You are receiving this letter because you have been identified as a Member who has illegally changed their country during this beta period. Friendster has made several attempts to return offending Members to their country of origin, yet many Members have ignored this corrective action, and have illegally selected the U.S. and Canada for their location. Please take notice that this behavior will no longer be tolerated. From this date, any Member who improperly changes their country will have their Friendster account suspended without hesitation.
Please rest assured that we are working around the clock to launch features to our entire audience. However in order to ensure the best possible user experience, we will continue to release products to certain markets first. We have plans to launch Discussion boards, Chat and Blogs to all of our markets in the weeks ahead. We thank you for your patience, and thank you for your continued support.
